Flamenco in Seville
Flamenco shows in Seville are on offer all over the city. Most guidebooks
warn against visiting the touristy "shows" or tablaos on the grounds that
they’re not genuine.
Personally we think these places offer a good night out and
we've had no complaints from Spanish Fiestas customers.
The three most popular shows are listed first. Prices may be higher than
is stated below.
El Tablao Flamenco Los Gallos
Address: Plaza de Santa Cruz, 11
Tel.: 95 421 69 81
Website:
http://www.tablaolosgallos.com/
This tablao has a professional cast and is the nearest you'll get to the real thing.
There are two shows, the first from 9-11pm and the second from 11.30-1.30am.
They charge 21€ including one drink. Our choice. Go for tapas first in Santa
Cruz then go to the show.
El Tablao Flamenco el Arenal
Address: Rodo, 7
Tel: 95 421 64 92
Website:
http://www.tablaoelarenal.com/
Located near the bullring and offering a great evening of entertainment with
the option of dinner. There are two shows, the first at 9pm and the second at
11pm. You can just watch the performance (30,50 with a drink) or watch the show
with dinner (59,50 €).
El Tablao Flamenco Patio Sevillano
Address: Paseo Colon, 11
Website:
http://www.elpatiosevillano.com/
Patio Sevillano is one of the most popular tablaos. Located on Paseo Colon
just along from the bullring before the Triana bridge this flamenco hall offers a fine evening’s entertainment with the
option of dinner during the performance.
Casa de la Memoria
Address: C/ Ximénez de Enciso, 28 (Barrio Santa Cruz)
Tel: 954 560670
If you'd prefer to avoid the flamenco show with dinner/drink style
performance then Casa de la Memoria is a good alternative. Traditional flamenco
shows take place here every night in the heart of Barrio Santa Cruz and cost
just €12.
El Tablao Flamenco Palacio Andaluz
Address: Avda. María Auxiliadora 18 B
Palacio Andaluz is another tablao offering a fine evening’s entertainment with the
option of dinner during the performance.
La Carbonería
Address: c/Levies 18
Tel.: 95 421 44 60
La Carboneria is not a traditional tablao but a bar which has spontaneous flamenco
performed by customers on Thursday evenings. Just northeast of the Iglesía de
Santa Cruz.
Flamenco Dance Museum
Address: C/ Manuel Rojas Marcos 3
Tel: 954 340311

http://www.flamencomuseum.com/
This isn't a flamenco show but a fascinating flamenco museum located in the

dancing.
