Excursion to Penedes to Discover the Wines of Catalonia Approximate Duration: 6 hours From Barcelona this wine excursion heads out to the Penedès wine country where a resident wine maker meets the party and takes you on a tour of his vineyards where you’ll learn about the production of Catalan wine and cava. In the wine cellar among the oak barrels you’ll enjoy a generous tasting of wines and reserve cavas accompanied by a wonderful Catalan lunch. Barcelona Excursion to Girona, Figueras and the Dali Museum Approximate Duration: 10 hours This full day excursions takes you north out of Barcelona to the medieval city of Girona which was originally built by the Romans as a fortress many centuries ago.
