Spain Private Tour ... Itinerary 10
Madrid - Extremadura - Seville - Ronda - Cordoba
- Granada - Barcelona. Mort Kolko and his wife Brad along
with their friends Bud and Joan Rusitzky arrived in Madrid from New York state.
After several days sightseeing in Madrid along with day
excursions to Toledo, Segovia and El Escorial they headed south via Extremadura
to Seville. We met in Seville at the Alfonso XIII on Thursday
October 14th and visited Jerez de la Frontera where they went to see a sherry
factory before attending the equestrian show at the Real Escuela Andaluza.
After the show we went to Arcos de la Frontera for lunch then
continued on to Ronda where they stayed the night at the Parador de Ronda.
The Friday was a full day in Ronda followed by a transfer on the
Saturday morning to Cordoba arriving early to leave plenty time to see the
many sights of this Moorish city. Late on the Sunday
morning we took the 'Ruta del Aceite' (Olive Oil Route) across Jaén province to
arrive in the late afternoon at the magnificent Parador de Granada from where
they would visit the Alhambra Palace the next day. From here they
would fly up to Barcelona with numerous day excursions before flying back to the
States. Photo Album
