Spain Private Tour ... Itinerary 7
This is a great example of a short break from the UK (5
nights) that allows you to see the best of Andalucia. Roger
Plant and his wife Jean arrived at Malaga airport from Luton on Friday
20th February. We drove west along the Costa del Sol as far as San Pedro then
headed up through the mountains to Ronda. After lunch we continued on to Seville
staying at the Hotel Becquer.
Saturday was a full day of sightseeing in Seville followed by a flamenco
performance in the evening.
On Sunday morning we left Seville and headed east to the stunning Parador
at Carmona for a coffee break. We then continued on to Cordoba where the
remainder of the day was spent sightseeing including a visit to the Mezquita.
Accommodation was at the Hotel Conquistador. On Monday we
departed from Cordoba after breakfast and took the 'olive oil route' to Granada
with time in the afternoon to visit the Alhambra, the Albaicín and most other
city attractions. On Tuesday 24th February we transferred
from Granada to the AC Malaga Palacio Hotel visiting the Picasso Museum and
other city sights in the afternoon.
Wednesday was the final morning with a short taxi ride to Malaga airport
for the return flight home.
