Santa Cruz de Tenerife Weather

The Santa Cruz de Tenerife climate is what you would expect from such a holiday island destination, the summers are hot and dry and the winters are mild and reasonably dry. It does tend to be a bit wetter in this part of the island than in the south of Tenerife.

At the height of the summer in July and August the daytime temperatures can reach close to 30ºC which is more than hot enough for sunbathing without being too uncomfortable. There is little or no rain during these months though there may be the occasional summer storm which won’t last more than a couple of hours.

In winter the temperatures are still very pleasant and this combined with the many clear sky and sunny days allow locals and tourists alike to spend plenty of hours outdoors.
