The Parador of Arcos de la Frontera was formerly the Casa del Corregidor.
It lies at the very top of the old town of Arcos with panoramic views of the
fertile plain of the river Guadalete below. It serves as a perfect base for
exploring the route of the white villages (Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos).
The hotel has three stars. Its bedrooms with balconies offer magnificent
views of Arcos. Inside, the typical Andalusian courtyard is joined by
traditional decorative elements such as latticework and ceramic tiles.
Wooden beams, rugs and round arches complete the decoration of the Parador.
Its friendly restaurant offers typical dishes of the region including oxtail
(rabo de toro).
