Some guide books will tell you that Nerja is still an unspoilt fishing village. Maybe that was the case 20 years ago but not today as tourists head there all year round to enjoy somewhere in the region of 320 days of sunshine. Having said that, Nerja has avoided the excesses of mass tourism and is nothing like the high rise resorts of the western Costa del Sol.
There are also some excellent villas which you can find on our Nerja Villas page. Or if you prefer a self-catering apartment take a look at our Nerja Apartments page. Another option for budget travellers is to stay in a nice family run hostel which is far cheap which is far cheaper than the alternatives.
