Menorca is one the Balearic Islands which lie off the east coast of Spain. It is a lot smaller than Mallorca and a lot quieter than Ibiza and has some stunning scenery. As well as having some wonderful sandy beaches Menorca is also home to many ancient ruins and fascinating caves.
The map of Menorca below shows the main resorts on the island. The airport is located in Mahon and bear in mind when making plans that the island is only 50km from west to east. This means that nowhere is very far from anywhere else.
