Mallorca Holidays

Southwest Coast Resorts ...

Mallorca's south west coast is the top destination for package tourism. There are plenty attractions for all age groups including families but this is certainly the place to go for 18-30s looking for a good time:

Andratx | Arenal | Cala Mayor | Camp de Mar | Can Pastilla | Magaluf | Paguera | Palma | Palma Nova | Playa de Palma | Santa Ponsa |

East Coast Resorts ...

Mallorca's east coast is populated with dozens of small coves and beautiful bays. Tourism is well developed here and is more geared towards family holidays than the rowdy resorts of the south coast:

Cala Bona | Cala d'Or | Cala Millor | Cala Ratjada | Can Pastilla Calas de Mallorca | Capdepera | Porto Colom | Porto Cristo | Sa Coma |

North East Coast Resorts ...

There are great beaches along the north east coast and controlled tourism development has led to some very attractive resorts. Many activities are available and the are is popular with walkers, birdwatchers and cyclists.

Alcudia | Can Picafort | Cala San Vicente | Puerto de Pollensa |

North West Coast Resorts ...

There aren't really any resorts as such along the rugged northwest coast. This is an area of beautiful mountains and rocky cliffs dropping down to the wild sea below. The area is popular with day trippers and there's plenty accommodation available if you prefer to be away from the traditional resorts.

Deia | Sant Elm | Soller | Valldemossa |

Obviously Mallorca is very much a summer destination with resorts completely packed during the peak July and August months. Personally I'm a big fan of May/June and September as a time to travel as it isn't so hot and the resorts aren't quite as busy. Many people make the most of the mild year round climate and take an extended winter break in Mallorca. take a look at our report on a winter in Mallorca which describes how we found the resorts there last March.
