Mallorca Golf Courses
There are 18 golf courses around the coast of Mallorca with other under
construction. Most of them are located in the south west of the island
with close proximity to Palma but others can be found in the north and east.
The one thing they all have in common is the fantastic sunny and dry
climate allowing golfers to play all year round. For those who are
used to playing golf in the cold and wet of a northern European winter it
will be a real luxury to play on a Mallorcan winter's day.
There are Mallorca golf courses for golfers of all levels set in
beautiful surroundings with magnificent views of the sea and mountains and
many with hotels right next to them.
Here we have tried to list all of the golf courses in Mallorca with some details
about each one. We have given the par and length of each of them according
to competition play so these will vary depending on which tee each golfer uses.

| Located in the hills of Andtrax yet only a short distance from the
beach at Camp de Mar this course is the most westerly on the island and
offers wonderful sea views. It has a driving range and Golf
Academy which Boris Becker, Michael Douglas and Claudia Schiffer have
all attended. |

| Santa Ponsa Golf Resort is home to two 18-hole and one 9-hole golf
courses. This golf course is the longest course on Mallorca and
has wide fairways and many water hazards and bunkers. It has
played host to the Balearic Island Golf Open six times. |

| This course is part of the same resort as the above course but is
reserved for the shareholders of the society. It is set in a small pine
forest and has also hosted the Balearic Open. The 18th-hole is
located on an island in the shape of Mallorca itself. |

| This is a long, difficult course which is ideal for good players and
professionals. Situated in a wooded area with many lakes this
course had very well kept fairways. It has an excellent
driving range where you can practise your shots. |

pine trees and with wonderful sea views. It is quite a short and
easy course without complications. It has a full grid of buggy

the most beautiful. The fairways are tree lined and offer
wonderful views over the bay of Palma. In 1990 and 1994 the

| This is one of the newer golf courses in Mallorca having opened in
2006. It is not too difficult a course but can be made more so by
hitting from the back tees. The course makes full use of its
natural surroundings and will eventually have a full network of paths
for buggies. |

| This is one of the longest and most demanding golf courses in
Mallorca. It has a driving range, two putting greens and a pitching
green allowing golfers to practise the full range of shots. The
hotel located next to the course dates back to 1581 and had been
refurbished to the highest level. |

course is suitable for experts and beginners alike. It has many
long, wide fairways and some narrower ones which require more precision.
The 15th hole on this course has been voted the most exceptional hole on
the island. |
