Malaga Weather

The weather in Malaga is exactly what you would expect from a city on the Costa del Sol … sun, sun and more sun. It is one of the best, most reliable and healthiest climates in the world with more than 300 days of sunshine per year.

During the winter the average daytime temperatures are generally about 16ºC and although there can be some rainy days but it never lasts for too long and skies are usually clear and sunny. It is a perfect climate during these months for playing golf. Check out our Costa del Sol Golf Courses page.

In summer the daytime temperatures can reach about 30ºC and there is little or no rain. There are occasional summer storms but these are over quickly.  In the evening it can get a bit cool so a light jacket may be required.

All of this added to the proximity to the sea makes Malaga a great city to visit at any time of the year.

Below is the current Malaga weather alongside the latest 7 day forecast. Below that you will find two graphs showing the average monthly temperature and rainfall in Malaga throughout the year.
