Flights to Granada
Flights to Granada with Ryanair certainly put the city on the map of short
break destinations. The city was visited by enormous numbers of foreign visitors
heading there to see the magnificent Alhambra Palace.
Unfortunately, the Granada town council refused to continue their subsidy of
budget airlines which once again makes the city rather inaccessible. If you can't find
anything suitable then you should consider taking a flight to
Malaga or
Almeria then driving to Granada.
The closure of this route also makes life difficult for skiers heading for
the slopes of the Sierra Nevada ski resort. Again flying to
Malaga or
Almeria is the best alternative then getting a transfer or renting a
vehicle.
