The 2011 Champions League Final will take place at Wembley Stadium in London
on 28th May. The Allianz Arena in Munich and the Olympiastadion in Berlin were
also considered but it was the New Wembley which was selected. The 2012 final
will go to Munich.
The Old Wembley on which the current stadium was built had hosted five
previous European Cup Finals but this will be the first at this outstanding new
stadium which only opened in 2007. It is Europe's 2nd largest stadium after the
Nou Camp in Barcelona with a capacity of 90,000 so a few extra tickets should be
available compared with recent years when the final has been held in smaller
