Mijas is split into 2 parts: Mijas Pueblo, a picturesque white village in the foothills of the Sierra de Mijas mountains and Mijas Costa on the coast. Please note that a car is really a necessity if you stay in Mijas Pueblo if want to do any sightseeing in the area or indeed visit the blue flag beaches of Mijas Costa.

Mijas 4 Star Hotels
Mijas Hotel
Located in the picturesque town of Mijas Pueblo 5 km from the coast. The rooms are decorated in different styles and all have terraces with breathtaking views. The hotel is decorated in the typical Andalusian style with patios, orange trees, jasmine and fountains. There is an outdoor pool with plenty of sunbeds available. The main restaurant offers both buffet and a la carte dishes and has a terrace with wonderful sea views.

Campanario de Calahonda Aparthotel ***
The Campanario apartments are located in Calahonda between Marbella and Fuengirola. The resort consists of 102 luxury 2 and 3 bedroom apartments all of which have satellite TV, a terrace and fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine and a microwave. There are 4 pools in the resort along with a gym, sauna and snack bar. Calahonda itself has a wide range of bars and restaurants.
